Judging by your descripti...</title><content type='html'>Thank you for the note.  Judging by your descriptions, I think the tea box is most likely from the 1920&amp;#39;s to 1930&amp;#39;s.  We have a few in our collection, but they are unusual to find! It seems that Mr. Wendell switched to using tin canisters in the 1940&amp;#39;s, so any wooden ones would have been prior to this time. The paper label on the bottom is intact, though a bit stained and has an elaborate crest with a two-headed bird and an H.  WOuld you have an approximate age for this container.
